Situated on the main walls surrounding Sulmona, a thriving holiday destination for many with lots of bars, restaurants and also hosting the Giostra, a yearly event over two weekends bringing lots of people from all over the world.   The event has teams of horses competing over the two weekends, there are also parades during this time all in medieval costume, it is an event not to be missed.
